Lahore: The Vice chancellor of University of the Punjab Professor Dr. Zaffar Mueen Nasar inaugurated the Punjab University College of Information technology’s online admission system.
Annually Punjab University College of Information attracts over 16,000 aspirants from all over the country to take the entrance tests for admission to different academic degree programmes at the college.

This year PUCIT has made and set up an automated online system to facilitate the aspirants to get them registered for the entrance tests.
As per the issued statement, the automatic solution will permit the aspirants to register online, print challan forms, pay entrance test fee as well as print roll number slips.
"This online registration system will impressively facilitate the aspirants to complete the procedure of registration without visiting the campus. Earlier, the peasants were required to travel to the college premises and spend considerable time in long rows to complete the registration procedure of entry test."

The vice chancellor of varsity appreciated the efforts of Punjab University College of information technology in systematizing the main business processes in the college for the sake of transparency as well as efficiency.
He applauded the efforts of a team of college teachers and staff, especially Dr Shahid Farid, Dr Waheed Iqbal, Kamran Malik and Asim Siddique, for making it possible to set up the online admission system.
On the very first day of online registration, more than 1500 candidates signed up and printed their challan forms to submit the entry test fee.
