Punjab University declares various exams result

Lahore, Punjab University Examinations Department has issued revised written date sheet for the First Year BS in Computer Science, 2nd annual exam 2011 & 1st annual exam 2012, while date sheet for the Final Professional MBBS (New Re-Organized Scheme), annual exam 2012 has also been issued.

Meanwhile, PU Examinations Department has declared the results of LLM (Final) A/2011, MA Arabic, Part-II A/2012, MA Physical Education, Part-II, A/2012, BS Computational Physics (Morning), semester system, session 2008-12, BBA (Hons.) Banking & Finance (Morning), semester system, session 2008-12, BBA (Hons.) Insurance & Risk Management (Morning), semester system, session 2008-12, M.Phil Home Economics (semester system), session 2010-12, Diploma in Environmental Laws (DEL) Final Result (semester system), session 2010-11, Diploma in Taxation Laws (DTL) Final Result, session 2010-11, BSc (2-Years), semester system, session 2009-11, BSc (2-Years) Morning, semester system, session BM 2007-2009 and BA (2-Years), semester system, session 2009-11.

The international conference on “Ideal Human and Ideal Society in the Thoughts of Fethullah Gulen” is going to start at PU Law College Auditorium at 9am.

The conference is being organized by The Fountain magazine and Rumi Forum in collaboration with Punjab government, Punjab University, Higher Education Commission, Punjab Education Department, Pak Turk International Cag Educational Foundation, Journalists & Writers Foundation and Harmony Publications and speakers from Pakistan, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Egypt, Turkey, Northern Ireland and USA are participating. Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif will chair a session of the conference.

A tree plantation ceremony was held at the lawn of PU Law College in the memory of international conference on “Ideal Human and Ideal Society in the Thoughts of M. Fethullah Gulen” which is going to be held tomorrow at 9am at the college’s auditorium.

Chairman Mr Naci Tosun, Chairman of Kaynak Holding, one of the most significant companies in Turkey, was the chief guest while PU Acting VC Dr Liaqat Ali, Director External Linkages Maria I Maldonado, The Fountain’s Editor Hakan Yesilova, Rumi Forum Chairman Harun Koken, senior faculty members and guest speakers from various parts of the world were present on the occasion.

The University of the Punjab established in 1882 which is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan. It was the first to be established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. The fact that two Nobel laureates are from this University speaks volumes for its academic and research excellence.
