PU declares MBBS & MA Education exams result

Lahore, Punjab University Examinations Department has announced various exams’ result. The result has been announced of MBBS 1st Professional Part-I annual examination 2012, Master of Educational Research & Assessment (M.E.R.A) semester system, session 2010-12, MA Education (Islamic) Self Supporting (semester system) session 2010-12, MA Education (Islamic) semester system session 2010-12, MA Education (Early Childhood) Self Supporting (semester system) session 2010-12, MA Education (Early Childhood) semester system session 2010-12, Master of Science Education (M.S.Ed.) Self Supporting (semester system) session 2010-12 and Master of Science Education (M.S.Ed.) (Semester system) session 2010-12.

Meanwhile, The University has ended the second In-service faculty professional training program at the department of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics (MMG). This program was conducted in collaboration with Learning Innovation Division (LID), Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan. There were two major components in this training program which were Professional Ethics, Management and Grooming: (Resource Person, Prof. Dr. Aslam Adeeb) and Assessment and Evaluation (Resource person: Prof. Dr. Junaid S. Khan).

The training program was contained on five day for the young PU faculty members. As many as thirty faculty members from different departments/Institutes/ Centers/ Colleges contributed in this program. While addressing at the certificate distribution ceremony, Prof. Dr. Shahida Hasnain said that such training programs are essential for professional mentoring.

She shared some important guidelines to newly hired faculty members and stress over that teachers should manage their time for other duties like departmental administrative duties, academics and research. She also praised the arrangements and struggles for the program and its coordinators (Dr. Imran Sajid, Assistant Professor MMG and Mr. Numan Javed, Lecturer MMG) and said that it is healthy activity and in future such programs should be conducted on regular basis.
 
She further admired the financial and technical support of Learning Innovation Division (LID), Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and University of the Punjab for conducting such training program.
