Lahore, Punjab University Examinations Department has announced the results of Diploma in Child Health (DCH) annual examination 2009, Diploma in Clinical Pathology (DCP) annual examination 2009 and Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics (DGO) annual examination 2009.
PU Directorate of Students Affair conducted “Seerat Ul Nabi (PBUH) quiz Competition” at Centre for Undergraduate Studies’ Al-Raazi Hall. A large number of students from various departments contributed in the contest.
Students including Madiha Habib and Ayesha Talib of Institute of Bio Chemistry & Bio Technology got first Position, Law College students Touqeer Ahmed & Mehmood Akhtar clinched second Position, Ayesha Ashraf & Iram Mujahid from Department of Botany stood third while a blind student Muhammad Suleman from Institute of Communication Studies got appreciation award.
The amount of Rs 8 thousand, 6 thousand, 4 thousand and one thousand cash were distributed among winners. Directorate of Students Affairs Director Shahid Mehmood Gull and Deputy Director Syed Zubair Akram praised the winning students.

Punjab University, Institute of Education & Research has started Admission Session 2013 in PGD in Montessori Teachers Training (1 Year Evening Program).
The IER Institute of Teacher Education in the country by keeping in the view the expanding system of pre-school education in the country and responding to the increasing demand of teachers from public and private sector has introduced Teachers Training Program in Montessori since 2007. Applications for next batch of students are invited. The course will comprise five avenues: Exercises of Practical Life, Sensorial Development, Mathematics, Language Development & Child Psychology through Cultural Components.
Interested candidates must have Bachelor Degree. Last Date to Apply is Feb 20, 2013 while Classes would start from Feb 28 at 3 to 5:30 p.m. (Twice a Week)
