MDCAT Exam Date 2024

The PM&DC has officially announced the MDCAT 2024 test date through its recent notification. The MDCAT 2024 test will be conducted officially on 22^nd September 2024 (Sunday). The 2024 MDCAT test will be conducted simultaneously in all exam centers in Pakistan at 10:00 AM. The MDCAT test date 2024 and time for the International candidates will be mentioned on their MDCAT admit card. By clearing the MDCAT test, students will be able to get easy admissions at their ideal medical and dental college and universities. The result or marks of this year’s MDCAT will be valid for next three years.

MDCAT Admitting Universities

The paper-based MDCAT 2024 exam will be conducted simultaneously at all Centre's/ Venues on 22^nd September 2024 in various cities of Pakistan. The details of the admitting universities and their MDCAT venues are as follows:

1. Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (Islamabad, AJK & International)
2. University of Health Sciences, Lahore (Punjab).
3. Khyber Medical University (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)
4. Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi (Sindh).
5. Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences Quetta, (Baluchistan).
6. Karakoram International University Konodass Gilgit Baltistan.

MDCAT 2024 Paper Pattern

The MDCAT test will be based on multiple-choice questions, this paper-based exam will be conducted in the English language. It will consist of 200 MCQs according with each MCQ carrying one mark. Students have to solve these 200 MCQs within the time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes and there’s no negative marking on any wrong answer, selecting more than one option for a single question is not allowed. The following table contains the MDCAT syllabus 2024, with the total number of MCQs and their difficulty levels:

20% Mcqs in the MDCAT 2024 test will be easy, 60% MCQs will be of moderate level and only 20% MCQs will be of hard level. The 70% MCQs of the whole MDCAT test will be recall based MCQs (memory) and 30% MCQs will be based on application/ reasoning.

How To Submit MDCAT 2024 Application?

PMDC MDCAT registration process is a vital for aspiring medical and dental students to successfully appear for their MDCAT exam. To successfully register for PMDC MDCAT test, students are required to carefully follow our below provided guidelines.

• First of all visit the official website of PMDC using your laptop or mobile.
• Then visit the ‘Exams Online’ section and press the “Click Here for MDCAT” button.
• This will take you to a new page where you have to register yourself for the PMDC MDCAT portal.
• Provide all your personal information, your name, Email address, mobile number, CNIC number, date of birth etc.
• Then set a unique password for your account and answer the reCAPTCHA box.
• Finally press on the ‘Sign Up’ button.
• After registering at the PMDC portal, start filling out your MDCAT 2024 application form.
• Provide all the asked information (previous education, nationality, father’s profession etc.) and upload all the requested documents in scanned form.
• Select your preferred city and exam centre for the MDCAT exam.
• Then pay your Non-refundable/ Non-transferable MDCAT registration fee of Rs. 8000/- online through various payment options available.
• Candidates have to pay more fee amount in case of late registration.
• Candidates will be able to access their MDCAT 2024 admit cards at least a week before their test.
• Candidates are advised to bring their original CNIC card and MDCAT admit card with them on the test day.
