PIA pilot put lives in danger, invites unofficial woman into cockpit

Lahore: The pilot of a Beijing-bound flight of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) that took off from Tokyo allowed a foreign woman to visit the cockpit violating the flight code.

Flight PK-853 witnessed violation of the international flying code as Pilot Shehzad Aziz gave ‘a complete tour of the cockpit’ to the Chinese traveler after asking all the team to exit the cockpit.

A representative of Pakistan International Airlines, Danyal Gilani has said that the statements of all the tem will be recorded after landing in the Chinese capital.

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has guaranteed to investigate the case and as per an official Pakistan International Airlines, the pilot might lose his job if the inquiry finds him guilty of violating the code.

Last week, a pilot of Pakistan International Airlines was also reported to have fallen asleep along with 305 passengers onboard, leaving the control to his junior.

The flight was enroute London from Islamabad, Pakistan.
