Lahore, Around 10, 000 new vouchers has been announced by Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) for the students who can’t pay their school dues and residing in southern Punjab districts. The vouchers would be provided after the verification of their backgrounds.
PEF spokeperson revealed that the provision of vouchers will be made to schools functioning under the EVS program of free education and will support the needy students to get educational opportunities up to matric level.
"These vouchers has been issued to 110 private schools functioning in the districts of Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and Muzaffargarh” PEF spokesperson said.
The Punjab Education Fund (PEEF) is a non-profit government body under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. To make it more efficient, transparent in its functioning, it is registered as Public Limited Company under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984.
