Lahore: Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has increased the amount of cash prizes for position holders of its affiliated schools.
From now, the overall first position holders of Boards of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISEs) and Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) exams will be given Rs 50,000 cash prize each. Likewise, Rs 40,000 will be awarded to overall second position holders whereas Rs 30,000 will be awarded to the third position holder.
In the meantime, Rs 25,000 will be awarded to group-category topper in the board exams. Rs 20,000 will be awarded to second position whereas Rs 15,000 for third position holder.

Managing Director of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) Tariq Mahmood said this while presiding over a meeting at his office on Thursday.
Deputy managing directors, programme directors and relevant authorties also attended the meeting.
The meeting expressed satisfaction that the aspirants of affiliated schools had always shown good results in various exams.
Furthermore, the meeting was informed that the procedure for textbooks collection for the academic year 2017-18 has already been started to deliver books well in time to the partners.
The meeting instructed the associated schools to make sure that the record of aspirants is updated regularly in PEF’s student information system so that their monthly remunerations could be paid according to the schedule.
