PEC introduced new biometric system for educational institutes on cards

Rawalpindi: According to the official sources, Punjab Education commission (PEC) has finalized the preparation to introduce the new examination as well as biometric system till 1^st July 2016 to certify the attendance in all the educational institutes crosswise the province.

The old divisional directorate of Education Department will also be made functional in the 36 districts of the province before 1^st July. The recruitments of 33,622 educators under the new contract as well as 2,170 assistant education officers will be completed till the start of July.
