Islamabad: More than 100 Pakistani aspirants attended a pre-departure briefing in Islamabad on Tuesday, in preparation for their upcoming semester in the United States of America (USA), via US government-funded Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD).
From the time when it was launched in 2010, over 1K Pakistani aspirants have participated in the programme.
Assistant Culture Affairs Officers of US Embassy Bettina Gorczynski congratulated the students on being nominated for the programme, which is sponsored by US Department of State and supervised by US Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP).

“The government of US is committed to youth and future development of Pakistan,” said Gorczynski.
She Furth more said that:
“That’s the main reason why we send hundreds of young Pakistanis to US every year to study and gain experience at American institutions of higher education.”
As per the press statement, Pakistani Global UGRAD participants greeted from all four provinces as well as from Gilgit-Baltistan, FATA and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).
