Bahawalpur: The academic certificates of 12 nursing students have been found fake during an investigation carried out under the instructions of Bahawalpur Division Commissioner Saqib Zafar.
The aspirants got admission on fake documents. This statement was given by Bahawal Victoria Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Rao Javed Akhter on Wednesday.
While conversing, he said we received a complaint in which it was affirmed that students admitted in a 3 years general nursing council session in October 2015, managed to get admissions on the fake documents.

He furthermore said that for this reason, a 3-member committee was constituted to investigate the issue. The medical supervisor maintained the committee checked the academic certificates of 45 nursing aspirants which got admission on special reserved quota for Bahawalpur District.
“So far, the investigation committee has found nine fake matric certificates and 3 fake FSc certificates that belonged to the nursing students,” he added.

Javed said that the documents were verified by Bahawalpur Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
He pointed out the documents were recovered from Nursing School Principal Saneeta Yousuf.
