Lahore, National Testing Service has announced the schedule of Graduate assessment Test GAT General for admission to MPhil and HEC scholarship. The test will be held on July 07, 2013 and in this respect last date to apply is June 10, 2013.
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has assigned National Test Services (NTS) the responsibility to conduct General Assessment Test Gat General for admission in M.Phil and HEC Scholarship Schemes.
Candidates with a minimum of 16- years Education are eligible to appear for M.Phil and HEC Scholarships Program. Candidates who want to improve their previous GAT Score can also apply. The candidates will have to qualify other specified criteria of the University / HEC Schemes. Test will be held in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Faislabad, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Gujranwala, and Hyderabad.
The candidate is required to register for appearing in the test as scheduled by NTS. The registration process is: Fill registration form (online) and bank deposit slip from NTS website www.nts.org.pk. (Registration form is available on website only).
There are two types of these tests. GAT-General and GAT-Subject. GAT-General (Graduate Assessment Test) is for admissions in MPhil and HEC Scholarship Schemes and GAT-Subject for PhD. Programs.
Candidates with a minimum of sixteen years of education are eligible to appear in GAT General and 18 years education for GAT Subject.
GAT-Subject helps to evaluate, analyze, solve problems, understand relationships and interpret material in a specific area of study. It is for Ph.D. admission.
