Dera Ghazi Khan: The Mphil scholars of a private educational institute staged a protest demonstration and sit-in in front of the residence of a local MNA for the non-issuance of their MPhil degrees.
According to the protestors, they have worked hard to complete their MPhil however now the institute, run by MNA Dr Hafiz Abdul Karim, has refused to issue the degrees to them.

They also alleged that National College of Business Administration and Economics, Lahore and Government College University, Faisalabad has refused to recognize the certificates issued the institute where they completed their MPhil.
The protesters, who teach at various education institutes in Dera Ghazi Khan, said they paid huge fee to earn their MPhil however the institute did not issue any degree to them even after the time period of two years.
The protesters demanded of the education ministry to take a notice of this situation.

In the meantime, management office of the institute said those who were protesting for degrees, never submitted their theses for MPhil and that’s why they have not been issued any degree.
Afterwards, Dr Karim met along with the protestors and assured them that he will get the issue resolve with the help of Punjab Governor Raqifue Rajwana.
