Lahore: Punjab Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Secretary Najam Ahmad Shah headed meeting to review the preparations for the entrance test for the admission of MBBS/BDS classes in government and also in private sector medical and dental colleges and universities of Punjab on Aug 28th, 2016 which will be organized in 13 cities of the province at the same time. The meeting reviewed all the preparations in detail.


MCAT test 2016 will be held on August 28th, 2016 in 13 cities of Punjab Province simaltaneously. 


According to the press release issued on Wednesday, this meeting was attended by Vice Chancellor of University of Health Sciences D. Muhammad Aslam, Prof Naveed, Additional Secretary (Technical) Dr Shahid Salaman, Prof Vice Chancellor University of Health sciences as well as other concerned officers.

MCAT entrance test 2016 will be held on August 28th in 13 cities of the province including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Sargodha, Sahiwal, DG Khan, RYK and Hassan Abdal.

MCAT test will begin at 9:00 am simultaneously in all the cities. The duration of entrance test will be 150 minutes (2 hours and 30 minutes).  Najam Ahmed Shah instructed that every possible facility should be provided to the applicants.

He furthermore said that foolproof security must be ensured at all the examination centres. Najam Ahmed directed that sitting arrangements, drinking water also be made available for the parents as well as other people coming along with the apsirants. Vice Chancellor Prof Muhammad Aslam informed the secretary about the arrangements for entrance test.
