New Grading Method Decision 2023
This groundbreaking change doesn't just apply to Punjab's educational boards but extends its reach to all educational boards across Pakistan. This decision is resulted from the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) meeting which was held on 27th October 2023. The officials of every educational board of Pakistan participated in that meeting.
Implementation Date of New Grading System
This grading system change will be implemented starting from next year 2024. According to this IBCC new grading scheme, marking system have been abolished and only grading system have been adopted. The CGPA will also be given along with grades in the result cards of the matric and inter students. This year as a practice, grades were also given to the students along with their marks in the matric and inter results. The IBCC also stated that the educational board of Punjab will train the Sindh boards regarding the implementation of new grading system.
