Gujranwala: The women Development Minister of Punjab Hameeda Waheeduddin announced on Thursday that the laptops are being given to the talented aspirants under the government laptop scheme.
She expressed these views while addressing the ceremony organized for laptop distribution among students.
Besides providing laptops, the government has also established the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund.

The scholarships worth Rs 11 billion have been given from the educational fund of the Punjab government with the help of which thousands of needy but brilliant students have become doctors, engineers, teachers, bankers, experts as well as scientists and are serving the country and the nation as well.
Waheedudin furthermore added that the organized to highlight merit on the base of which the laptops are being provided to the students. The government of Punjab has distributed 315,000 laptops on a merit basis in 3 phases up till now.

Though, in the 4th phase, 150,000 I-7 laptops are being distributed among the aspirants before Ramazan.
