Lahore, The Kinnaird College Department of Media Studies Friday visited the Government College University Lahore for a photo walk. The KC delegation led by faculty member Agha Rizwan Ali visited the various departments of the GC University and took the photographs of the university’s historical gothic-style building.
The delegation also met with the GCU Department of Fine Arts Chairman Irfan Ullah Babar and discussed the historical perspective and significance of GCU building. Irfan Ullah Babar told the students that the GCU building was designed by W. Purdon, Superintendent Engineer, and constructed under the supervision of Executive Engineer Kannhaiya Lal in 1877 at a cost of Rs. 320,000 only.
