Pakistan Army has invited applications from the candidates for the positions of the captain/major through the short service regular commission (SSRC). The male and the female candidates are eligible to apply for the announced vacancies.
General Duty Medical Officers As Captain
The candidates interested to apply for this post should have the MBBS degree recognized by the PM&DC. The age limit for the male and the female candidates is 28 to 35 years.
Classified Specialist As Major
The candidates can apply for the various specialties such as Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Gynecology, General Medicine, Pathology, Psychiatry, Surgery, and Pediatrics. The candidates must have the MBBS degree and higher post-graduation qualification (FPSC) or an equivalent foreign qualification recognized by PM&DC in respective specialties. The age limit for the candidates is 28 to 35 years.
Sub-Specialist (Medical & Allied) As Major
The male and female candidates can apply in different specialties according to their qualifications such as Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Critical Care Medical, Emergency Med, Clinical Haem, Rheumatology, and Oncology. The applicants should have the MBBS degree and higher post-graduation qualification (FPSC) or equivalent foreign qualification recognized by PM&DC in General Medicine and FPSC/equivalent foreign qualification in Cardio, Gastro, Pulmo, and Critical care. The age limit for the candidates is 32 to 40 years.
Sub-Specialist (Surgical & Allied) As Major
To apply for the sub-specialist as major the candidates can submit the form for various announced vacancies in different specialties that include Neonatology, Cardiac Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Peads Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Urology, Bum Plastic, and vascular Surg. The candidates are required to have the MBBS degree recognized by PM&DC and higher post-graduation qualification (FPSC) or equivalent foreign qualification recognized by PM&DC in General Surgery. The age limit for the male and female candidates is 32 to 40 years.

Eligibility Criteria
Following is the eligibility criterion for the latest Pak army jobs.
- Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad& Jammu Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan are eligible to apply.
- For the announced vacancies the candidates qualified from the governmental institutes will be preferred.
- Marital status: Married/Unmarried
- Physical Standards: Minimum height for the male candidates is - 5'-4"(162.5cm) and for the female candidates- 5'-0" (152.4 cm). The weight of the candidates should be as per the Body Mass Index.
Application Procedure
- Candidates can register for the Pak army jobs through the online platform or by visiting the army selection and recruitment centers.
- The candidates are required to submit the original documents, attested copies of the registration certificate, house job certificate, domicile, CNIC, and photographs.
- The candidates have to submit the crossed postal order of Rs. 100/- in the favor of director-general personnel administration, GHQ Rawalpindi.
- While filling the application form the candidates are advised to enter the correct details and no column should be left blank.
Selection Procedure
- To select the eligible candidates for the Pak Army Jobs 2020 the Pakistan army will conduct the written/intelligence/ personality tests.
- The candidate will undergo the initial medical test at AS&RCs
- Selected candidates will be then called for the interview by the GHQ selection board at the various cities such as Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
- The final selection will be made at GHQ by considering the overall performance of the candidates.
- The finally selected candidates have to sign the bond of an agreement to serve the army for a minimum of five years.
