IUB and FCAP working together for promotion of agriculture sector

Bahawalpur, A three-member grower’s delegation of the Federation of Chamber of Agriculture, Pakistan (FCAP) called on the Vice Chancellor of Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) Prof Dr Muhammad Mukhtar at Abbasia Campus, here on Sunday.

Spokesman of the university Shehzad Ahmad said that matters of mutual understanding and promotion of agricultural activities, especially the training of progressive growers, were discussed in the meeting.

It was principally agreed in the meeting that a two-days workshop would be organized in the first week of January, 2011 jointly by the IUB and FCAP to formulate ways for the promotion of agriculture sector.
