Important Announcement: From now HEC will not recognize degree of 1-year B.Ed programme

Lahore: It is hereby announced that 1 year B.Ed programme for the grant of degree has been stopped effective fall 2016.

The programmes including Primary teaching certificate, Certificate of teaching and Diploma in Education have already been terminated for all universities, affiliated colleges as well as other higher education institutions (HEIs).Read Mor

According to the new approved Teacher Education roadmap by Higher Education Commission, HEC will not accept 1 year B.Ed degree of any student registered in any institute from August – September 2016 and onwards.

These abovementioned programmes have been replaced by Associate Degree in Education (ADE) and B.Ed Honors programmes being offered in all Teachers Education institutes.
