ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has issued an important advisory warning students, graduates, and degree holders to remain cautious of fake degree attestation agents claiming to provide fast-track or unauthorized attestation services. The commission urged applicants to use only official HEC procedures for the attestation of academic documents.

The warning comes as part of HEC's ongoing efforts to protect students from fraud and ensure that all degree attestation services are carried out through authorized channels. The commission emphasized that dealing with unauthorized agents could result in financial loss and unnecessary complications during the attestation process.

HEC Issues Advisory Against Fake Attestation Agents

According to the Higher Education Commission, several individuals and organizations falsely claim to have direct links with HEC officials or promise guaranteed document attestation in exchange for additional fees. The commission clarified that such claims are misleading and that no private agent has the authority to process degree attestation on behalf of HEC.
