Islamabad: The Federal government has announced Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.
As per the latest notification issued by the officials, all the government as well as private sector offices will remain closed from June 26th, 2017 to June 28th, 2017.
This notification of holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr is issued by the Ministry of Interior.

The government has announced total 3 holidays for the Eid festival.
The issued notification reads that the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays will begin from 26th June and will end on 28th June.
All the government and the private sector offices will reopen on June 29th, 2017 (Thursday).
Because of the weekend just before the Eid holidays, the off-days will be from June 24th, 2017 and in this way the employees of both public and private sector firms will get total five Eid holidays.

Mostly schools and the colleges in the country already have summer holidays. The educational institutes are scheduled to reopen on August 15th, 2017.
On the other hand, the government has also decided to pay out the income and the pension for the month of June in advanced on June 20th, 2017 on account of Eid-Ul-Fitr to all the government sector employees.
