Islamabad: As part of endeavors to improve the student learning environment in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has made an online cell for the fast solution of their grievances regarding government sector education facilities and staff members in the sector.
The 'Online Complaint Cell', which is part of the Prime Minister’s Educational Sector Reforms Programme (PMESRP), permits the individuals to record the complaints from home.

Along with the public sector schools and colleges in Islamabad run by the FDE, the PMESRP has been launched in the ICT simultaneously to upgrade or construct buildings, computer labs, playgrounds as well as the other facilities at public sector schools and colleges.
Providing the facility of buses to the educational institutes is also part of this programme, which is overseen by the daughter of Prime Minister, Maryam Nawaz, with the help of a committee consisting of few MNAs and FDE officials.

As per the concerned officials, the people can record the complaints or objections regarding the management of school or college, teachers, building, hygiene as well as learning environment along with the system for speedy redressal simply by visiting “www.support.fde.gov.pk” or by calling toll free number “0800-76377”.
In addition, the PMESRP and FDE officials, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, the state minister for CADD, which has also the managerial and financial control of the FDE, has the access to the e-complaint system to know regarding the recorded complaints and follow up on them.
