Lahore, Forman Christian College is going to conduct its first Green Business Initiative which will be a national inter-university competition. The contests will emphasis on different ideas which will be produced by competing teams (consisting of 3-5 members). By this contest progress of green businesses can take place in Pakistan.
Teams would also point out possible solutions about the current businesses that are directing on profit maximization and are not focusing towards the environment. Today students are the leaders of tomorrow, so an understanding towards the importance of a green environment would be made.
Topics will be given to competitive teams related to green business development in Pakistan, and they will have to formulate an unplanned speech for 2 minutes. The jury will award the points according to the quality of their content.
A problem sheet will be given to competitive teams and they will have to present their solution on Power Point with a time limit of 5 to 7 minutes. The jury will again award points to each team according to the practicality of their solution.
Registration for the event will be effective from Dec 24, 2012 to Feb 8, 2013 while the event will take place on Feb 23, 2013.
Registration charges are Rs 2000/- per team and 3 to 5 members are permitted for each team. Rs 500/- per person (only for participants outside of Lahore) will be charged for optional facilities (residency + meals) and also includes 3 meals and one bed room. Payments are to be made through Demand Draft in favor of “Forman Christian College”.
