Rawalpindi: The Education Department has directed the officials to start hiring of 4,960 employees on empty seats in different educational institutes in Rawalpindi Division.

The Education Department has ordered the authorities to appoint education officers, teachers, non-teaching staff, drivers as well as clerical staff.
As per the details, the hiring will be done on 1,350 vacant seats of assistant education officers, 700 vacant seats of education officers, 2,805 vacant seats of secondary school teachers 35 vacant seats of data entry operators and 70 vacant seats of drivers.

At the same time, the department has also released a grant of Rs 631.7 million from the outgoing budget 222016-2017 for the payments of incomes to these new appointing staff.
