Centralized Admissions for Private Medical Colleges

Private medical colleges in Punjab have agreed to a centralized admission system under the University of Health Sciences Lahore. This important decision was made during the meeting of heads and principals of private medical colleges and was presided by the Vice Chancellor UHS, Professor Ahsan Waheed Rathore.

• These centralized private medical college admissions will start from 21^st January 2025.
• The goal of this centralized admission system is to improve transparency and support the merit-based selection process.
• All private medical colleges in Punjab have collectively agreed to adopt the UHS-managed system.

First Selection List for Govt. Medical Colleges Released

The UHS first selection list for MBBS admissions to government medical colleges in Punjab has been released officially. Highlights of Government College Admission Process:

• The minimum merit for government medical colleges was 3621%.
• All selected candidates must deposit their program fee by 23^rd January 2025.
• The annual fee for government medical colleges is 18,000 and can be paid online through Bank of Punjab.
• After submitting the fee, candidates need to provide written joining confirmation to the respective college.
• Only those students who will submit the fee and provide written joining confirmation will be eligible for admission.

Upcoming Selection List

For students who are waiting for further opportunities, the second selection list will be released on 24^th January 2025. This assures that more candidates still have a chance to secure admission based on the updated availability of the seats.
