About Multan Board
The Multan Board plays a crucial role as a public sector organization, managing and conducting secondary and higher secondary exams within the city. Established on 30th March 1968, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Multan came into existence through an ordinance of the Government of West Pakistan, which was approved by the Assembly of Pakistan on 24th May. Initially operating from the Government Central Training College Lahore, the Camp Office of the Multan Board later shifted to Multan in mid-June. Over time, it evolved from being under the Lahore Board to its current status, governed by the Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 1976.
