Lahore: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore (BISE Lahore) caught two fake candidates sitting in the exams in place of real applicants in two different examinations halls for inter annual exams 2016.
As per the details, almost 17 special squads of BISE were appointed for the checking of examination halls crosswise the city to counter cheating mafia as well as other irregularities. While visiting the examination centre in Mansoora Degree College, located at Wahdat Road, a fake candidate, named Moazzam, was sitting with roll no 654062 instead of Arslan.
Likewise, during a visit of an examination centre at Kot Radha Kishan, a fake candidate, named Muhammad Ramzan, was sitting on behalf of Saleh Rafique against roll no 555212.

On the other hand, another candidate named Mukhtar Ahmad along with Roll no 757052 was caught red handed while cheating during exam. The cheating case of using ‘Unfair Means’ was filed against him.
Representative of BISE Lahore Board Qaiser Virk told media that both candidates, Moazzam and Ramzan, were handed to local police and FIRs have been registered these candidates. He said that strict actions will also be taken against the real candidates for permitting others to appear in place of them.
He said that investigation teams were already strict in inspecting the districts of Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib, because every year reports of cheating were received from these regions.
The representataive moreover said that Lahore Board chairman has instructed that examination staff and the aspirants cannot take mobile phones in the centres. In case of violation, strict action shall be taken against the suspect.
