AIOU Announces Spring Admissions 2024

We're excited to announce that AIOU is currently accepting applications for admissions in their Computer Science department. These AIOU admissions 2024 are open for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including PGD. The Computer Science department at AIOU adopts a hybrid teaching approach, combining face-to-face regular classes for BS and MS programs with e-learning components. Utilizing Aaghi Learning Management System, along with video and teleconferencing, the department facilitates lectures and consultations, particularly for research-oriented MS degrees and professional courses at the BS level. AIOU Eligibility Criteria:

Following is the AIOU eligibility criteria of different study level programs in computer science department:

BS Programs:

At-least 50% marks in intermediate with engineering/computer or Mathematics subjects.

MS Programs:

A candidate is eligible to apply for MS Computer Science program if he has 16 years relevant qualification with minimum 60% marks in annual system and 2.0 CGPA out of 4.0 in semester system.

PhD Programs:

Candidate are eligible to apply for PhD Computer Science program if they have MS in the relevant field or equivalent with minimum of 3.0 CGPA out of 4.0 or 70% marks.

PGD Programs:

Candidates having Bachelor degree with minimum 2nd division can apply for computer science post graduate diploma programs.

Attested photocopy of candidate’s CNIC
Attested photocopy of applicant’s father CNIC
Copy of Domicile
Copy of previous academic transcripts/ result card or detailed mark sheet (attested)
Passport sized photo

How To Apply for AIOU Admission:

To apply for AIOU Computer Science admission, a candidate is required to follow the below given steps:

All candidates can download the AIOU prospectus from here.
Applicants are required to submit their AIOU admission application online at AIOU admission portal.
To submit your AIOU admission form, first create an AIOU account by entering your personal information i.e., name, CNIC number, mobile number and email etc.
After creating your AIOU admission portal account, click on “apply now” button and fill out the AIOU spring admission 2024 form.
Attach the scanned and attested copies of all requested documents.
Then generate the fee challan and submit the application processing fee in any UBL, MCB, ABL and FWB branch or submit the fee using jazz cash, easypaisa and Upaisa services before the admission deadline (15th February 2024)
The amount of application processing fee will vary depending upon the study-level.
Upload the paid receipt on your admission portal, after submitting your application processing fee and finally submit your application.
