Islamabad: Federal Directorate of Education has opened admission to the degree classes at the government colleges of Islamabad for boys and girls for the next academic year i.e. 2016-17.
The admissions are offered for B.A, BSc, B.Com and BS (computer science) Part-I programmes completely on merit basis.
The FDE has the administrative control of all the government educational institutes operating in the Islamabad Capital Territory.
As per the representative of FDE, the applicants, who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate-II examination, can get registration forms together with the prospectus for admissions from their respective educational institutes until August 26th, 2016 and submit them till August 28th, 2016.

All educational institutes will display the lists of selected applicants on campus on September 5th, whereas interviews and payment of dues for admissions would be organized between September 5th and September 9th. The degree classes will properly start on September 19th, 2016.
The official said registration forms will not be issued after the due dates.
Almost 15 graduate and postgraduate colleges in Islamabad Territory were affiliated along with the Qauid-i-Azam University in 2012 for the benefit of residential students.
