A brilliant student as well as technology entrepreneur from Pakistan, Syed Faizan Hussain has been awarded along with the Queen’s Young Leaders Award.
The 23 year old Pakistani student has been acknowledged for his work to support the usage of technology in health related solutions.

About Queen’s Young Leaders Award
Queen’s Young Leaders Award is an annual award that looks for the individuals aged between 18 years to 29 years from the Commonwealth nations and awards them for their leadership potential.
This award was introduced by the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust and Comic Relief and the Royal Commonwealth Society earlier in 2014.
About Syed Faizan Hussain
Faizan Hussain has set up a number of startups which also includes “Edu-Aid” (a system that can translate the sign language to spoken language) as well as “OneHealth” (a tool which can be used for disease observation and tracking to support the medical institutions in dealing along with the widespread outbreaks).
The 23-year-old entrepreneur has also worked as a teacher along with more than 200 aspirants from poor backgrounds to train them in computer programming skills.

Now he makes a strategy to launch a technology consultancy and outsourcing company, Venture Dart, for the expert freelancers, entrepreneurs as well as for the small businesses.

I am pleased to have received this award and I am looking forward to expand my leadership skills and engaging along with the persons from different fields who will be sharing their thoughts, concepts and experiences.
An Honor for the Winners
A ceremony was organized in honor of the position holders at the Buckingham Palace in United Kingdom on June 30th, 2017 and Faizan was the only Pakistani student to join the winners from all over the Commonwealth countries.
This prestigious award includes a program of meetings, interacting opportunities and mentoring sessions; all curated to assist the award winners progress as leaders in their homelands and increase their impact on the lives of people.
Before the ceremony all winners visited 10 Downing Street (UK Prime Minister’s House) and took part in master classes at the BBC World Service and headquarters of Facebook in United Kingdom.

All these award winners were also hosted by the Commonwealth Secretary General.
The University of Cambridge will be offering workshops to every winner whereas the senior executives from top leading companies will inform them regarding those projects which are improving the lives of people in United Kingdom.
