One more Nuclear-powered Electricity generation plant of the Chashma Nuclear Power Plant (CHASNUPP) project has been made operational by the government of China.
According to some sources, the Chashma Nuclear Power Plant Unit-3 (C-3) operated by the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) was associated with the National grid and made functional just a few days back.
Moreover, the plant will be adding low-cost significant electrical energy into the National grid of Pakistan, on experimental basis.
According to some more sources, the plant will be adding 340 megawatts to the national pool.

The Chashma Nuclear Power Plant Unit-3 (C-3) is the third of the series of Nuclear Power Plants which are being operational by the government of China in Pakistan.
The Chashma Nuclear Power Plant Unit-1 (C-1) was unveiled in 2000 whereas the Chashma Nuclear Power Plant Unit-2 (C-2) was made operational in 2011 with the help of the Chinese government.
Furthermore, China is working on the fourth plant (C-4) which is also expected to be completed within next few months.
