Sialkot: Chief Minsiter of Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the government of Punjab has distributed 3 lakh laptops among brilliant students across the province.
This announcement was made at the laptop distribution ceremony organized in Sialkot for the students. While addressing the laptop distribution ceremony, the chief minister of Punjab affirmed that the government will provide each possible facility to the deserving aspirants.

“The government of Punjab has not just distributed laptops among the aspirants however will also be awarding scholarships to the needy aspirants under Punjab Education Endowment Fund Program,” said CM.
“During the last 7 years, the scholarships of worth 11 billion rupees have been granted to the deserving aspirants,” he added.
This scheme was launched by Federal Government in 2013 under the sphere of Prime Minister Youth Program. The Youth Program consists of numerous schemes involving Prime Minister’s Interest-Free Loan Scheme, Prime Minister’s Youth Business Loans, Prime Minister’s Laptops Scheme as well as the Prime Minister’s National Internship Program.

“We wish to control extremism by offering our students quality education,” Shahbaz Sharif asserted while delivering the speech in the ceremony.
The Punjab government has also launched an ‘Orange Cab’ scheme to deliver 100,000 cars to the unemployed youth of the province.
“The scheme would provide 100,000 people along with the source of income”, said CM.
