Main Routes To Enter In CA

There are two main ways from which you can take admission in CA which is as per according to The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. These are as follows:

Full Time Scheme

In this scheme, students can apply for CA as a profession after doing their 12 years of education (which is a Higher School Certificate), Students can also apply for CA after their A levels or other equivalent qualifications.

Admission Criteria

• Minimum 50% marks with Higher Secondary School Certificate.
• ‘A’ Levels with minimum two passes, or equivalent qualification.
• A Graduate degree with minimum 45% marks.

Assessment of Fundamental Competencies (AFC)

Before taking admission into the professional exams, all the candidates have to pass or get the exemption from Assessment of Fundamental Competencies (AFC). A candidate may be registered for AFC exams as Full-time student even if their result of pre-requisite qualification is awaited. The students are needed to pass or obtain exemption from the papers of Certificate in Accounting and Finance (CAF) before training.

Training And Education
