What a Muslim Feels about the cartoon of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)

First let me tell you what I as a Muslim think Religion is... IT IS LIFE... Mind you Not a way of life to me But life itself... do u know what happens to a herd without a shepherd? It gets lured into harms way one day or the other and dies eventually... We are a herd of human beings and if we had no Shepard any guidance that is what will happen to us. We follow a religion NOT because it is passed onto us by our ancestors but one who really follows his religion is one who believes in it and fulfils his obligations with feeling and profound respect.

Now ... our religions ISLAM has taught us MUSLIMS to respect other religions ...In the heart of every proper Muslim lays the feeling of love for humanity. To US RESPECT OF OTHERS is also a very important virtue, we want people to believe in Allah not because it will increase our kind but we want them to believe because we know it will be best for them.... The rest is their choice.

Patience is a virtue... Admitted! But testing anyone’s patience is not a virtue!

I wish I could tell the Fool in Denmark who started all this menace that the only reason Muslims don’t believe in AN EYE FOR AN EYE in this situation is because we respect the Prophet ESSA (I.H.S) as one of our own. They call him Jesus that doesn’t make a difference to us. He may believe of making fun of other people's religion, their mentors, their cultures, their roots, but we DONT.Ironically an illiterate person will never understand the difference between the LIMIT and CROSSING the LIMIT... If this is what you are taught then I strongly suggest that you leave religion at the side. Either way one who does not know how to respect others need not be respected. When once this mistake was made and the people responsible apologized for it how dared you advertise this issue calling it FREEDOM OF SPEECH....
FREEDOM OF SPEECH: Freedom of speech is when you call a white; white, a black; black, so on and so forth. Making cartoons that disrespect others is not freedom of speech; it is a mockery of Muslims. How can you expect us to tolerate insult under the unjustified and extremely juvenile banner of freedom of speech? If you believe so strongly about free speech then show the world what really happened in Afghanistan and is going on in Iraq, show it on the T.V and print it in your newspapers. Show peoples not just THE SOLDIERS PARADING AROUND LIKE THE SOLE PROTECTORS OF THE WORLD, don’t JUST SHOW THE AFTERMATH OF WAR AND THE DEBRI, SHOW THEM BLOOD, SHOW THE GRAVES, SHOW THE ORPHANS THE WIDOWS, THE WOUNDED.... SHOW THEM HOW POLITICS MANIPULATES THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA AND MAKES THEM THINK THEIR LEADER IS PROTECTING THEM WHEN ALL HE AND OTHER PLAYERS ARE DOING IS GOING FOR THE OIL... SHOW PEOPLE THE MASSACERS THAT TOOK PLACE IN GERMANY.... SHOW PEOPLE HOW JEWS WERE ALMOST ERADICATED FROM THIS WORLD... SHOW THEM HISTORY MOVIES IF YOU CANT SHOW THEM THE PRESENT ... DONT LET PEOPLE FORWARD INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET AS IF THEY ARE STARTING A REVOLUTION ... SHOW IT IN THE NEWS OR IN THE PAPERS...WHAT HAVE YOU TO HIDE?

But DON’T show us what your cowardice by hiding behind the poorly thought of comment: FREEDOM OF SPEECH....
THE PROPHET MOHAMMED (S.A.W-P.B.U.H) that they make fun of said. " The ink of a scholar is more powerful than a warrior’s sword".
A CARTOONIST IS NEITHER A SCHOLAR NOR A WARRIOR AND IF SOME CYNICAL PEOPLE THINK OF HIM AS THEIR HERO, THERE'S NEWS... THE WHOLE WORLD ISNT FILLED WITH CORRUPTED PEOPLE OR CYNICS... AND NOT EVERYONE IS AN IDIOT!

What does a cartoonist know of the world? A cartoonist who hides from the real world and makes fun of people, fictional characters, mainly that people find funny... a cartoonist will not understand the sentiments of an UMMAH.... Forward mails nowadays are telling us to boycott all products of Denmark and are trigging the emotions of every MUSLIM... But I want the NON-MUSLIM to know about this delicate issue too. The CHRISTIANS, THE JEWS, THE HINDUS, THE SIKHS ALL THE HUMAN BEINGS TO KNOW.... Provoking people so you can prove themselves terrorists is a cheap thought. It doest even work. If today we stand up against a cartoon it is not because we favor violence at every opportunity but because FREEDOM OF SPEECH is for someone who has something RIGHT TO SAY. No one listens to blabber. And a tongue should now be abused if the possessor does not know how to use it. Silence is for him

Now all said and done as usual we look at ourselves last, is burning down our own homes and shops an answer, is this retaliation against the people who are wrong or are we retaliating against our own people. Should we take our anger out at innocent people whose sole crime is to own that piece of property our youth so insensitively and needlessly set fire to? We can burn down our country and kill our own people but all we will accomplish by doing so is giving our enemies a reason to show the world how irrational Muslims can be!

Our Holy Prophet (May Allah’s peace and blessings be with him) forgave all who did Him any wrong. If we are to follow in His footsteps and act like His Ummah we need to abide by His Sunnah. I pray Allah All Mighty gives each and every person in Pakistan the rationalism to differentiate between vandalism and retaliation and help us make our self- torn country to the form our ancestors once dreamed it to become. Ameen.
