Precious and most valued resource granted by Allah Almighty to humans to survive and develop in this contemporary world, water. Its importance can't be judged from this but from the fact that Allah Almighty created ever living thing from water.
It's the miracle of Quran e Kareem, to mention all those facts about water 1400 years ago, which we have been realizing now.
Take a glimpse to find answers of all our questions regarding water, starting from the fact that:
Allah Created Everything From Water.
Its importance can judge from the fact He created every living in this universe from water and He has power to do all this as being the most powerful and governing. And without acknowledgement of this fact Muslims faith is incomplete.
And says: "Do those who disbelieve not see that the heavens and the earth were sewn together and then We unstitched them and that We made from water every living thing? So will they not believe?" (Surat al-Anbiya', 30) and "Allah created every animal from water. Some of them on two legs, and some on four. Allah creates whatever He wills. Allah has power over all things". (Surat an-Nur, 45)
Where water come from?
Quran Says: "Then your hearts became hardened after that, so they were like rocks or even harder still. There are some rocks from which rivers gush out, and others which split open and water pours out, and others which crash down from fear of Allah. Allah is not unaware of what you do". (Surat al-Baqara, 74).
But Allah didn't completed here but tell us in detail:
Various Sources Of Water
The two seas are not the same: the one is sweet, refreshing, delicious to drink, the other salty, bitter to the taste. Yet from both of them you eat fresh flesh and extract ornaments for yourselves to wear; and you see ships on them, cleaving through the waves so that you can seek His bounty and so that hopefully you will be thankful. (Surah Fatir, 12)
Allah Sends Down Drinking Water
Have you thought about the water that you drink? Is it you who sent it down from the clouds or are We the Sender? If We wished We could have made it salty, so will you not give thanks? (Surat al-Waqi'a, 68-70)
Allah Produces Rain
It is Allah Who sends the winds which stir up clouds which He spreads about the sky however He wills. He forms them into dark clumps and you see the rain come pouring out from the middle of them. When He makes it fall on those of His servants He wills, they rejoice. (Surat ar-Rum, 48)
Allah Gives Life To The Earth With Water
The Barrier Between The Two Seas
Allah Made The Sea Subservient To People
It is He Who made the sea subservient to you so that you can eat fresh flesh from it and bring out from it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships cleaving through it so that you can seek His bounty, and so that hopefully you will show thanks. (Surat an-Nahl, 14)
Allah Brings Forth Crops By Water
Do they not see how We drive water to barren land and bring forth crops by it which their livestock and they themselves both eat? So will they not see? (Surat as-Sajda, 27)
Lastly think the importance & existing of water in the universe for the below mentioned Ayah
Allah's Throne
It is He Who created the heavens and the earth in six days when His Throne was on the water, in order to test which of you has the best actions. If you say, 'You will be raised up after death,' those who disbelieve will say, 'This is nothing but downright magic.' (Surah Hud, 7)
Being most powerful, Allah has power over all things and Allah creates whatever, wherever and whenever He wills.
