There are few relationships in life that go through the test of time but always emerge victorious. Among all these relationships, the love bond that we share with our mothers is really irreplaceable because it is constantly being fed with love and kindness. There is no such relationship in this world that can keep pace with which we share with our mothers.

Mother's day is celebrated with great zest zeal and fervor in around more than 45 countries across the globe to show the love and affection for mothers. The day is celebrated on different dates in many parts of the world. Mostly it is celebrated in the month of March or May. Each year in Pakistan, second Sunday in May is dedicated to motherhood by celebrating Mother's Day.

On this special day child appreciate and honor their mothers and grandmothers for their endless support and contribution to family and society. They pay tributes to mothers for all the hardships they face in child-rearing. The day is celebrated with gifts, special greetings, cards, flowers, cakes and in many other ways.


On this special day, whole day children make their mothers feel special and share their precious sentiments and express deep love for their mothers. They honor mothers’ unconditional love, sacrifices, struggles and fights for child and also for playing a major role in the society.

Mother's day is an opportunity for us all to pay back our mothers and show our gratitude towards her. For this special day many special programs and celebrations are arranged in schools and colleges of Pakistan. Media organizations in connection with mother's day arrange and direct many special programs and dramas and on-air sponsored live transmissions. Focused advertising campaigns are launched many days before this day to motivate people to express more love to their mothers.

Mother's day is a special event for all the mothers of the world. We cannot negate the importance of mother's as they lays foundation of our growth throughout our life on every dimension.
