Sindh Madrasa Board's Five-Year Scholarship Program
Under the five-year scholarship program of Sindh Madrasa Board, a plan has been devised to provide quality and modern education to deserving male and female students from rural and urban areas of Sindh, helping them move forward in life through education. The Sindh Madrasa was founded by the renowned philanthropist Khan Bahadur Hassan Ali Andri, who played a significant role in providing both religious and modern education in Sindh and South Asia. Under his leadership, a great educational institution was established, which has provided valuable contributions to the region, with several notable individuals, including Pakistan’s founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah, having passed through its halls.
Continuing this tradition, the focus has been on promoting education in rural areas, especially in the Malir district of Karachi, where educational and economic development has taken place. Thousands of students from these areas are now excelling in various fields of life. The Sindh Madrasa Board, in collaboration with the Government of Sindh, is offering a unique opportunity to students under this scholarship program, which covers the full educational expenses for meritorious students who face financial challenges.
Key Highlights of the Scholarship Program:

The scholarship is for students who have passed the 7th grade and wish to continue their education from 8th grade to the 12th grade (Intermediate).

A merit-based entrance test will be held on Sunday, 6th April 2025, at the SMB Quaid-e-Azam Public School, Education City, Sanat Chowk, Malir, Karachi.

The scholarship will cover all expenses for tuition, uniforms, books, and boarding (for 40 students). Students will also receive free transportation.

10% of the scholarship will be reserved for students who excel in sports and extracurricular activities.

The scholarship will be awarded entirely based on merit and need.

The last date to submit applications is March 15, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:

The applicants must have passed the 7th grade or be enrolled in the 7th grade in any school in Sindh.

Applicants must provide a copy of their B-form, a domicile certificate from Sindh, proof of annual income, and other necessary documents.

An entrance test will be held covering English (20%), Urdu (20%), Mathematics (30%), and General Science (30%).
