30 Credit Hours (24 Credit Hours Course Work and 6 Credit Hours Research Work). 

PLAN B (Course Based Master Degree Program) 

30 Credit Hours Course Work 

Duration 

Minimum Duration: 1.5 years 

Maximum Duration: 04 years 

MASTER DEGREE ADMISSION TEST REQUIREMENTS 

Candidates who qualify GRE General or International/GAT (General) conducted by UET Peshawar (with a passing score 50%). 

ELIGIBILITY FOR MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMS 

Candidates seeking admission to Master Degree Programs must have Bachelor Degree in the relevant discipline. GRE General or International/GAT (General) conducted by UET Peshawar will be compulsory for all the applicants for admission. to Master Programs, (minimum 50% qualifying marks). 

Structural Engineering: B.Sc Civil Engineering or relevant discipline 

Power Engineering: B.Sc Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline 

Cyber Security: Candidates must have any of the following Degrees: 

BS(SE/CS/IT)-4 years 

B.Sc Engg: 4 years 

MCS/M.Sc(CS) 

Machine Learning: B.S/B.Sc/B.E in Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering /Computer System Engineering/Computer Software Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering recognized by Pakistan Engineering Council. 

Renewable Energy Engineering: B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering. Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering. Mechatronics Engineering, Materials Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or relevant B.Sc Engineering degree. 

Engineering Management: Graduates of all engineering disciplines are eligible. 

Artificial Intelligence: Relevant degree in Bachelor of Science, Engineering, Business and Technology.

ELIGIBILITY FOR PH.D. DEGREE PROGRAMS 

Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. Degree Programs must have: 

A Master/M.Phil/equivalent degree in the related field with minimum CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 or 3.75 out of 5.00 or First Division in annual system. The percentage will be valid only if the CGPA is not mentioned in the degree/transcript 

Candidates having less than the mentioned CGPA/Division may be admitted to a Ph.D program after fulfilling the additional requirements mentioned in HEC Graduate Education Policy 2023 available online on HEC website. 

GRE General or International/GAT (General) conducted by UET Peshawar (with a passing score = 60%). 

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR UET GAT GENERAL TEST (M.Sc. & PH.D.) 

Candidates should fill online UET Peshawar Test (GAT General) application forms for M.Sc. and Ph.D. respectively on www.enggentrancetest.pk. After qualifying the aforementioned tests, the candidates (M.Sc. & Ph.D.) are required to fill online Admission application form available on:
