Combined Entrance Test 2025 (Second Attempt)

For Admission to B.Sc. Engineering Programs and Other Disciplines (Offered by UET Lahore)

Overview

As directed by the Government of Punjab, UET Lahore has been conducting a Combined Entrance Test (ECAT) since 1999 for admission into Public Sector Engineering Institutions of Punjab.

As per the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) notifications, this entrance test is mandatory for admission into undergraduate engineering programs in both public and private sector institutions. This is the second and final entrance test for the year 2025.

Note: Candidates can attempt the test multiple times, and the best score will be considered for admission. The result of this ECAT will be valid for Fall 2025 admissions.

Programs Covered

This test is applicable for:

• B.Sc. Engineering Programs

• Computing and related disciplines (where required for UET Lahore)

1. Orientation Session

A 15-minute orientation session will be held to familiarize candidates with the computer-based test system.

• Date: Thursday, June 12, 2025

• Location: One of the following test centers (as mentioned on the Admit Card):

  1. Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan

  2. Islamia University, Bahawalpur (Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus)

  3. NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology, Multan

  4. UET Lahore (Main Campus)

2. Application Process

To obtain the Entrance Test Admit Card, follow these steps:

a) Pay the challan (generated through the UET admission portal). Payment can be made via:

• HBL Online Banking (if HBL account holder)

• Visit any HBL/UBL branch (for non-HBL holders)

b) Fill out the application form and select your test center preference carefully (non-editable after submission).
