COMBINED ENTRANCE TEST 2025 (SECOND)
FOR ADMISSION IN ENGINEERING INSTITUTIONS OF THE PUNJAB
FOR B.Sc. ENGINEERING PROGRAMS AND OTHER DISCIPLINES (OFFERED BY UET, LAHORE)

Since 1999, the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has conducted the Combined Entrance Test (ECAT) for admission to public sector engineering institutions in Punjab, as directed by the Government of Punjab. In line with directives from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), this entrance test is mandatory for admission to undergraduate engineering programs in both public and private institutions.

Important Details:

  • Entrance Test: This is the second and final entrance test for the year 2025. PEC instructions allow applicants to appear multiple times and the best result will be used for merit determination.

  • Test Validity: The score obtained from this test will be valid for admission to UET Lahore for Fall 2025.

  • Subjects: The entrance test is required for admission to B.Sc. Engineering programs and other relevant disciplines (e.g., computing) at UET Lahore.

1. Orientation Session Date and Time

A 15-minute orientation session will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025. The session will familiarize candidates with the computer-based test format. The location and time for each candidate will be printed on the admit card. The orientation will be conducted at the following centers:

  • Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan

  • Islamia University, Bahawalpur

  • NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology, Multan

  • University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore Campus

  • UET Lahore Faisalabad Campus

  • UET Lahore Narowal Campus

  • Rachna College of Engineering and Technology, Gujranwala

  • Khawaja Fareed University, Rahim Yar Khan

  • University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila

  • University of Gujrat, Gujrat

2. Entrance Test Date and Time

The Entrance Test will be held from Friday, June 13, 2025 to Monday, June 16, 2025 at the centers listed above. Specific dates and times will be allotted to each candidate, printed on their admi
