Law Admission Test (LAT)

For Admission in Five-Year LLB Degree Programme in Pakistani Universities/Institutions

The Education Testing Council (ETC) under the Higher Education Commission (HEC) will conduct the Law Admission Test (LAT) for students seeking admission in a five-year undergraduate LLB program. This is applicable for admissions in HEC/PBC-recognized public and private universities, institutions, or affiliated colleges with valid affiliation.

The test is being conducted in accordance with the directions of the Honorable Supreme Court as per:

• Order dated: March 6, 2018

• Judgment dated: August 31, 2018 (Case No. CP134/2012)

Who Can Apply?

Students who:

• Have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent (12 years education)

• Appeared in final HSSC or equivalent exams and are awaiting results
