Admissions for MBBS and BDS
Admissions to Government and Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Punjab for Session 2024-25
Based on the admission policy issued by the Government of Punjab on October 10, 2024, and the guidelines from the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) communicated on January 3, 2025, the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, has been authorized to conduct the admissions process for eligible candidates into government and private medical and dental colleges across Punjab.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Requirements:
- MBBS: Minimum of 55% marks in the MDCAT (Medical and Dental College Admission Test).
- BDS: Minimum of 50% marks in the MDCAT.
- Candidates must have completed HSSC (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with at least 70% marks.

Foreign Applicants:
- SAT-II scores with a minimum of 550 marks in each subject (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics) or equivalent international qualifications.

Disability Quota:
- Applicants with disabilities must submit a certified disability certificate, detailing the nature of the disability, issued by a government-approved medical board.

Application fees must be deposited at The Bank of Punjab branches or online as instructed in the application form.
Important Notes
- Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Candidates must ensure all required documents, including academic records and CNICs, are uploaded correctly.
- Admission will strictly follow the announced merit criteria, and any falsification of documents may result in disqualification and legal action.
