FOR ADMISSION TO POSTGRADUATE COURSES
ACADEMIC SESSION 2024-2025
LIAQUAT INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES, THATTA
(A Constituent Institute of LUMHS, Jamshoro)

Applications on prescribed online forms are invited for admissions to the following postgraduate programs for the Academic Session 2024-2025 at Liaquat Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Thatta.

M.D/M.S COURSES

  • MS General Surgery

  • MD General Medicine

DIPLOMA COURSES

  • Diploma in Anaesthesiology (D.A)

  • Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics (D.G.O)

  • Diploma in Child Health (D.C.H)

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Guidelines for students regarding eligibility criteria and fee structure are available on the University website: www.lumhs.edu.pk.

  2. The candidates must deposit non-refundable fees as follows:

    • PKR 20,000/- for MD/MS Courses

    • PKR 5,000/- for Diploma Courses
      An online challan form is available on the University website.

  3. The University reserves the right to cancel any or all advertised courses partly or as a whole.

  4. The University reserves the right to change rules and regulations for postgraduate studies from time to time.

  5. The Postgraduate Selection Committee reserves the right to cancel any admission.

  6. In-service candidates must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer before applying. However, they may submit a copy in advance along with relevant documents.

  7. No separate call letters will be sent for entry tests/interviews. Candidates must regularly visit the website for updates. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

  8. Ineligible candidates will not be permitted to appear in the entry test/examination.

SCHEDULE FOR ADMISSION

  • Online application submission begins: March 17, 2025

  • Last date to submit applications: April 5, 2025
    (No application will be accepted after the due date.)
