FOR ADMISSION TO POSTGRADUATE COURSES ACADEMIC SESSION 2024-2025

AT LIAQUAT INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES, THATTA
(A Constituent Institute of LUMHS, Jamshoro)

Applications on prescribed forms (Online) are invited for admissions to the following postgraduate programmes for the Academic Session 2024-2025 at Liaquat Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Thatta.

POSTGRADUATE COURSES OFFERED

M.D/M.S Courses:

• MS General Surgery

• MD General Medicine

Diploma Courses:

• Diploma in Anaesthesiology (D.A)

• Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics (D.G.O)

• Diploma in Child Health (D.C.H)

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. Eligibility Criteria & Fee Structure: Detailed guidelines regarding eligibility criteria and fee structure are available on the university website: www.lumhs.edu.pk.

2. Application Fee:

   • MD/MS Courses: Non-refundable application processing and entry test/examination fee of PKR 20,000/-.

   • Diploma Courses: Non-refundable application processing and entry test/examination fee of PKR 5,000/-.

   • The online challan form is available on the University website.

3. University Rights:

   • The University reserves the right to cancel all advertised courses either partly or entirely.

   • The University reserves the right to amend rules and regulations for postgraduate studies at any time.

4. Selection & Admission Regulations:

   • The Postgraduate Selection Committee reserves the right to cancel any admission.

   • In-service candidates must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer before applying; however, they may submit a copy in advance along with relevant documents.

   • Incomplete application forms will not be entertained under any circumstances.

5. Entry Test & Interview:

   • No separate call letters will be issued for entry tests or interviews. Candidates must visit the university website for updates.

   • Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to appear in the entry test/examination.

SCHEDULE FOR ADMISSION:

• Online Application Submission Opens: March 17, 2025

• Last Date for Online Application Submission: April 5, 2025

• No application form will be accepted after the due date.
