This is with reference to the advertisement (SPL42) published by the Punjab Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) on October __, 2024. Pursuant to the directives issued on January 17, 2025, the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore is designated as the admitting university for BDS admissions in the following Public Sector Dental Colleges of Punjab:

The PMDC and the Government of Punjab may update the schedule as needed. Candidates requiring medical board assessment for disabilities must appear before the Medical Board to determine their eligibility.
Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed the MDCAT-2024 with a minimum score of 50% (100/200).

Candidates may use MDCAT-2023 scores for admissions in 2024-25. If a candidate has taken both MDCAT-2023 and MDCAT-2024, the better score will be considered.

Candidates applying on foreign seats must have appeared in MDCAT for Foreign/Dental Aptitude Test, UCAT, or SAT-II.

Must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent (12th grade) with at least 50% marks in Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or Mathematics.

Overseas Pakistanis must have studied and passed HSSC (12th grade) or equivalent in a foreign country and possess a valid foreign domicile certificate.
Application Submission Guidelines:

Applications will be accepted online only through the official portal within the given schedule.

Candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents in JPG/PDF format (Max 1MB per document):

Matriculation and HSSC certificates or equivalent.

Domicile certificate (only Punjab residents are eligible, except for ICT candidates).

CNIC/B-Form of the applicant.
-
CNIC of the applicant’s father, mother, or guardian.

Only original scanned documents shall be uploaded. Blurred or edited documents will result in disqualification.
