PhD Pharmacology & MPhil Pharmaceutics

PhD Pharmacology

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. A CGPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division in the Annual System.

  2. Institutional Graduate Entry Test (IGET) or subject GRE with a passing grade of 60%.

  3. MPhil/FCPS or an equivalent degree in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized university/degree-awarding institution.

  4. Students with a CGPA below 3.0 (out of 4.0) or less than 60% marks in the annual system shall complete an additional course of 9 to 12 Credit Hours (Level 7) along with other admission requirements.

MPhil Pharmaceutics

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. A B.Pharm/Pharm-D degree from an HEC-recognized university, duly recognized by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.

  2. A minimum of 60% marks (Annual System) or a CGPA of 2.5 (out of 4.0 in Semester System) from an HEC-recognized university/degree-awarding institution.

  3. A valid score of 50% in the GAT/HAT/GRE or KMU-IPS entry test.

Important Notes:

  1. Online Application: Interested candidates must properly fill the online admission form on the KMU website (https://pgadmissions.kmu.edu.pk) and upload the following:

    • Recent passport-size photograph (attested).

    • PMDC/PCP registration.

    • Copies of educational testimonials (degrees, certificates, and DMCs).

    • Experience certificates (from government/semi-government/autonomous bodies).

    • Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

  2. Entrance Test: Passing the entrance test is a mandatory requirement for all applicants.

  3. Application Fee: Candidates must deposit Rs. 3000/- through a bank challan generated after online registration and upload a scanned copy of the deposit slip with their application.

  4. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

  5. In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel.
