PhD in Psychiatry / Public Mental Health

Khyber Medical University invites applications from talented and highly motivated candidates based in Pakistan for a fully funded, full-time PhD position in Public Mental Health. This opportunity is offered for the academic session 2025–26 under KMU's prestigious PhD Programme in Mental Health.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualifications:

  • MBBS

  • FCPS or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry, or completion of FCPS training in Psychiatry

• Age Limit:

  • Up to 40 years

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in:

    • Global Health

    • Public Health

    • Epidemiology

    • Biostatistics

    • Health Research
      (From a PMDC/HEC-recognized university or institution)

• Experience:

  • Candidates with clinical research experience in mental health will be given preference.

• Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
