PhD in Psychiatry / Public Mental Health
Academic Session: 2025–2026

Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar, invites applications from talented and highly motivated candidates based in Pakistan for a fully funded, full-time PhD position in the field of Public Mental Health. This opportunity is offered under the PhD Programme in Mental Health for the academic session 2025–26.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Background:

  • MBBS degree.

  • FCPS or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry, or completion of FCPS training in Psychiatry.

• Age Limit:

  • Applicants must be up to 40 years of age.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates with a Master’s degree in Global Health, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or Health Research from a PMDC/HEC-recognized university or institution.

  • Individuals with experience in clinical research related to mental health will be given preference.

• Language Proficiency:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
