ADMISSION NOTICE

PhD in Psychiatry / Public Mental Health (Session 2025-26)

Khyber Medical University (KMU) invites applications from talented and highly motivated candidates for a fully funded full-time PhD position in Public Mental Health.

Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Qualifications:

  • MBBS degree

  • FCPS or equivalent in Psychiatry or completion of FCPS training in Psychiatry

• Age Limit:

  • Up to 40 years

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:

    • Global Health

    • Public Health

    • Epidemiology

    • Biostatistics

    • Health Research

  • Degree must be from a PMDC/HEC-recognized university or institution

• Experience:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with clinical research experience in mental health

• Language Proficiency:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
